October 24, 2011 - Entrance Pillars Being Repaired:  The entrance pillars to Runyan Lake Point are being rebuilt due to mortar failure.  During late October and November (2011) both pillars will be reconstructed from the the ground up.  The use of modern mortar should help with longevity.  An improved foundation and inner core structure of concrete block should greatly increase strength and stability.  A new street sign will also be placed on top of the south pillar. (Project completed 12/2/2011 except for some clean-up)

June 2010Runyan Lake Point and Spring Street crack repair and road sealing project:  Runyan Lake Point and Spring Street continue to deteriorate as a result of their age.  There are now numerous large cracks across the road which continue to get wider and result in undermining and depressions in the roadway.

During the Spring General Membership Meeting the RLPPOA membership approved a proposal for repair of these areas and to seal coat the roadway to slow further deterioration.  To fund this expense the membership approved the establishment of a special assessment as set forth in our bylaws in the amount of $250 per lot.  Invoices were mailed out June 16, 2010 and the assessment is due July 15, 2010.  As soon as a majority of the payments are received the work will be contracted out with completion planned for early to mid summer.
